Media, PA – Today District Attorney Jack Whelan announced that four Assistant District Attorneys were recently sworn in to the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office. Assistant District Attorneys Heather Hayes, Diane Horn, Michael Pileggi and Meghan Price will serve as prosecutors to represent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Diane Horn is originally from Williamstown, New Jersey where she graduated from Williamstown High School. Diane attended Gloucester County Community College where she graduated in 2009 with a degree in Liberal Arts. In 2011, Diane received a Bachelor’s Degree in Law & Justice from Rowan University. Diane went on to attend Widener University School of Law where she received her juris doctorate in 2015. Prior to becoming a legal intern in the District Attorney’s Special Victims Unit, Diane served as an intern for the Honorable Judge Eric Davis of the Superior Court, New Castle County, Delaware.
Heather Hayes was born and raised in Marple Township. Heather graduated from the Episcopal Academy in 2008. She attended Franklin & Marshall College where she graduated in 2012 with a degree in business. Heather went on to attend Villanova University School of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2015. During her time in law school, Heather served as managing editor of Student Works for the Environmental Law Journal.
Meghan Price is from Havertown and is a graduate of Villa Maria Academy in 2007. Meghan attended Villanova University where she earned a bachelor of arts in English. Meghan went on to attend Villanova University School of Law where she received her juris doctorate in 2015. Meghan served as a legal intern in the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office since May 2014.
Michael Pileggi was born and raised in Chester. After graduating from Cardinal O’Hara High School, he earned a degree in history from Pennsylvania State University. Pileggi received his juris doctorate from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2015. During his time in law school, he worked for the Honorable Timothy J. Savage in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He later joined the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office as a legal intern in 2014.
