G. Michael Green Presented Community Service Awards for Professional Dedication to Organizing & Conducting the Revail Exercise

On September 18, 2007, Delaware County hosted the Prevail Counter Terrorism field exercise for Emergency Responders.  Prevail is an acronym for "Preventing-rail terrorism".  The exercise trained and prepared emergency responders to mitigate a terrorist attack on transit vehicles while fostering professional relationships among the participants. The Prevail exercise involved Local, County, State and Federal Law Enforcement Officers, transit officials, hospitals, communication teams and First Responders. 

At the County Council meeting on February 19, 2008, G. Michael Green, District Attorney, presented Community Service Awards to the following for their professional dedication to organizing and conducting the Prevail Exercise:

  • Sgt. John Viola, Haverford Township Police
  • Sgt. Joseph Hagan, Haverford Township Police
  • Sgt. Heb King, District Attorney's Criminal Investigation Division
  • Detective Paul Corsi, District Attorney's Criminal Investigation Division
  • Edward Beebe, Delaware County Emergency Service
  • Armand Alessi, Delaware County Memorial Hospital
  • Joseph Brielmann, Office of the District Attorney, Public Information Officer
